Experience
The role of CDM Co-ordinator is a new role introduced into the industry
following the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.
These regulations superseded a previous Act which required the appointment
of a Planning Supervisor on all but the simplest of construction projects
to review construction proposals from a health and safety perspective.
We undertook
the role of Planning Supervisor on numerous projects for the public
and private sector and this experience
together
with appropriate
training demonstrates our commitment to improving health and safety awareness
within the construction industry. As a consequence of the above we have
acted as CDM Co-ordinators on many new and reinvestment projects since
the Act came into being – either on a stand-alone basis or as a
part of our multi-disciplinary offering.
