The role of Principal Designer is relatively new following the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. These regulations superseded the previous Act which required the appointment of a Planning Supervisor or CDM Co-ordinator on all but the simplest of construction projects to review construction proposals from a health and safety perspective.
We undertook the role of Planning Supervisor / CDM Co-ordinator on numerous projects withiin the public and private sector and this experience together with appropriate training demonstrates our commitment to improving health and safety awareness within the construction industry. As a consequence of the above recently we have acted as Principal Designers on many new and reinvestment projects since the Act came into being – either on a stand-alone basis or as a part of our multi-disciplinary offering.
Our expertise ranges from high-end residential and commercial interior design through to substantial refurbishment and new-build schemes for both the public and private sector.
